Privacy in the shop

This page explains what happens with your data when you buy in the shop. It adds to the Privacy page of everydaymotivation.org. The controller is Smart Digital OÜ, registry code 14355468, J. Vilmsi tn 41, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia, VAT number EE102016390, hello@everydaymotivation.org.

In your browser

Your bag, the country you choose and the email you type stay in your browser (local storage) until you pay; nothing is sent to us before you press “Pay securely”, except the country and the items to calculate shipping. The shop uses no cookies. Visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics without cookies or personal data.

The supporter discount

When you type an email in the bag we check whether it belongs to an active supporter. We keep no email for this: the support Worker stores a keyed hash of the address and the date the discount ends, and deletes it on that date.

At checkout (Stripe)

Stripe collects your name, delivery address, email, optionally your phone number, and the payment details. Stripe is the payment processor; we never see your card number. From Stripe we receive the name, address, email, the items and the amount. Legal basis: the contract with you.

Printing and delivery (Printful)

To print and deliver the order we pass your name, delivery address, email, phone number (if given) and the items to Printful, Inc. (USA) and Printful Latvia SIA (EU). Printful uses them only to fulfil the order and keeps them under its own privacy policy; transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

What we keep

  • An order record for the status page: order number, items, your name, city and country, the shipping service, Printful’s status and the tracking link – for 400 days, then it is deleted automatically.
  • Payment and invoice records at Stripe and Printful for 7 years, as Estonian accounting law requires.
  • Emails you send to hello@everydaymotivation.org, as long as needed to answer.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted (where no legal duty requires keeping it), and object to processing: hello@everydaymotivation.org. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) or the authority of your country.
